About The Show


Dan Bogert


Dan Bogert is the Arizona Restaurant Association’s Chief Operating Officer.  Dan came to the ARA in September 2016 after spending four years with the County Supervisors Association of Arizona (CSA).   In addition to his legislative duties at CSA, he was responsible for developing revenue and expenditure projections, state fiscal analysis, and assisting counties in their budget development process.  Prior to joining CSA, he worked on county and special district issues at Barnes and Associates as a legislative liaison and analyst.  Dan also served as a campaign manager and consultant for several local races and a congressional race.

Dan is a Graduate with Distinction with a degree in economics and business from the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) where he received the second highest score on the Major Field Test in Business.  While at VMI he was an NCAA Division 1 swimmer and captain of the swim team.  Shortly after returning to Arizona after a short stint on the East Coast, Dan became a firefighter with the Mesa Ranger District for the U.S. Forest Service before realizing that offices have air conditioning.

In his free time, Dan enjoys cooking and testing new cocktails, hiking, camping, scuba diving, and traveling.  Dan currently serves as an instructor for the United States Air Force Explorers, a service academy preparatory program, and also teaches wilderness survival classes several times a year.


David Delorenzo


In 2010, David was the proud recipient of the Volunteer of the Year award from the Arizona Hotel & Lodging Association and the Arizona Restaurant Association.

David DeLorenzo is a native Arizonan. He attended college at Arizona State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing. After college David worked for Warner Bros records distributor, which started a 10 year career in the record entertainment industry. While engaged in the record industry, and armed with marketing knowledge, David opened his first marketing company called Diamond in the Rough Promotions.

While building his business, David discovered a niche market that could use his services: the restaurant industry. He developed his current affordable insurance for all sectors of the hospitality industry. David is a dedicated member of Arizona’s restaurant community, constantly staying current on the bar and restaurant industry, marketing to ensure that he is providing outstanding, quality service for restaurateurs.

In addition, David has built a reputation in the industry based on the trust that he will always look to serve the best interest of his clients in both insurance price and coverage. David is a silent investor of four restaurants in the Phoenix metro area. David feels that by traveling to these restaurants and getting his hands dirty he better understands the needs of the restaurant industry and thus, his client.

David is an avid runner and health fanatic. He is a family man at heart and cherishes the time he is able o spend with family and friends. David also enjoys music and science fiction and has a special place in his heart for Star Wars. “For those that need it, make time he will.”

Lisa brings her mid-western values to business brokerage, where Integrity meets Results. One of the things that energizes Lisa is putting people together in “win-win” situations so that each party can move on to the next phase in their life.

Lisa’s educational achievements include a BA from Benedictine College (KS) and M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame (IN). Lisa received the prestigious Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) certification from the International Business Brokers Association, Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Professions (CM&AP) from Coles College of Business, Certified Business Broker (CBB) certifications from the Arizona Association of Business Brokers.

Prior to becoming an Intermediary and then the Designated Broker and Owner of LINK Business-Phoenix, Lisa applied her sales and management skills in home construction, her evaluation skills in her statistical and evaluation company, and her teaching skills from her many years as a University professor.
